Stayed 2 nights and was made to feel so welcome. All the staff were friendly and Andrew (the owner) could not do enough to help with where to go. Best cup of tea we have ever had. And the Guinness was outstanding. Will definitely go back.
Just enjoyed a superb Sunday lunch, varied menu choice, food delicious and plentiful, all accompanied by excellent service. If our dog could give a review it would also be five stars! Great fuss, fresh water and a dog treat menu at the bar. Overall a great Sunday lunch experience will definitely return.
As a family, we love coming to the Butchers with fiends and family. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is brilliant. The menu is great and the Sunday roasts are delicious! They have a kids menu and dogs are allowed in the bar area.
2 night stay as part of a group. Location is superb for getting out and exploring the Brecons, rooms were just what we needed, very comfortable, clean and decorated to a high standard. Staff are brilliant and Andrew is very welcoming and the food is excellent. Will come again for future trips.
We called in after a hike round Pen Y Fen and we are really glad we did. This is a really welcoming pub and worth a visit. The food prices are very reasonable, especially given that most pubs charging reasonable prices, the food is mediocre at best, not at The Butchers Arms, the food was great, a good choice, well cooked, well presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were all friendly and attentive, the place just had a really nice feel to it. it was a perfect end to a great day. We sat outside as it was a sunny day, but the inside seemed nice too and the toilets were immaculate, another sign that this is a well run establishment who take pride in what they do. Can’t praise them enough. Thank you

This place is a diamond! The staff will go the extra mile, landlord is a top guy who always has time for you and have a little chat. The food is fantastic and I always enjoy the pint on offer. This little diamond is my little gangs go to place for local celebrations! 10 out of 10 each time! Keep up the good work bois!
